As we move into 2012, I’ve had a little time to look back and find some of our favorite images from 2011. We’ve had some fabulous clients who’ve been an absolute joy to work with. The 20 images below are some of our favorites from the year gone by, but to be honest it was so hard to choose. A couple of weeks ago we did a photo shoot for NUI Maynooth Swim Team, ironically called the devils ! It’s styled in a similar to the way the Twilight films were advertised. Hope you enjoy the selection.
Just five days to go now until we start photographing at Santa’s Kingdom in the Ormonde Hotel, Kilkenny. Really looking forward to it, it’s going to be so much fun ! I brought my son Doug to get a sneak preview today !
Yesterday morning, I met with 3 month old Cillian Murray and his mum Linda for the second of his year of bliss shoots. It never ceases to amaze me to see the development of these beautiful children during their first year. You may remember Cillian from a couple of months ago when he was just 2 weeks old, hasn’t he changed !
The week before last Clare and I were priviliged to share Stephan and Sheilas big day with them, and record memories for them to enjoy for many years to come. There ceremony was held in the parish church at Conahy, Co. Kilkenny, which looked absolutely wonderful for the occasion. Our bride arrived on time to the surprise of many guests, who were left running to get in before her. Sheila looked amazing wearing a lace and diamond effect dress and was obviously the centre of attention. After the ceremony we went on to do some shots at Jenkinstown Park and then back to the Newpark Hotel which was decked out to it’s usual high standard. We did some more family shots here in the lovely garden at the back of the reception room, where the weather just about held up for us. I’m told the party went on very late into the night, and will be remembered fondly by all those who attended. Sheila and Stephan then jetted off to sunnier pastures to enjoy a well deserved honeymoon. Here are a small sample of the images from the day.
Last weekend we had a wonderful day sharing Kim and Karl’s wedding day, which was held in Kilkenny. The ceremony was held in St Patricks church, which looked amazing on the day. We then went to Kilkenny Castle and on to the Newpark hotel, where the celebration went on late into the night. Karl and Kim were joined by a huge number of family and friends, most traveling from Dublin for the event.
We shot a wonderful wedding recently in St Patricks Church and the reception at Hotel Kilkenny. While the weather wasn’t ideal, we got some fabulous shots of the bride and groom, at the church, Kilkenny Castle and of course the Hotel. We hope you enjoy them !
I had the pleasure of photographing the great grandson of a famous Kerry man who lived in Kilkenny for many years. Con O’Shea was a gentleman that I was happy to call my friend. I had many long and educational chats with him but sadly he’s no longer with us. Yesterday I got to shoot Con jnr for the second of his year of bliss shoots. Con is 3 months now and it’s amazing to see the difference that a couple of months make. Con is a gorgeous little guy, full of smiles. A year of bliss shoot documents a baby’s first year with photo shoots at newborn, 3, 6, 9 and 12 months, all combined and presented in a beautiful album at the end of the year. This weekend has us very busy with a big family shoot and 3 month old having his second shoot as part of his year of bliss. On saturday we’re shooting a wedding in Hotel Kilkenny. Really looking forward to this as it’s a beautiful hotel with fabulous gardens, we should have some fabulous images to show you next week.
